Tutoring Policies
1. Scheduling
NOTE:Appointments may only be booked after the purchase of a tutoring package. Upon completion of the purchase, a unique booking password will be sent to your registered email. All appointments must be scheduled through the Appointment Booking tab at least two (2) days in advance, unless prior special permission has been granted.
Sessions are 50 minutes long.
All sessions must be scheduled in advance.
Cancellations require at least 24 hours' notice to avoid being charged.
2. Attendance & Cancellation
If a student is more than 15 minutes late, the session may be canceled and considered missed.
Missed sessions without notice are non-refundable.
Make-up sessions may be scheduled at the tutor’s discretion.
3. Payment
Payment is required before the first session (per session, or in a package).
Package sessions (3, 5, 10 sessions, etc.) must be used within a set time frame (e.g., 3 months).
No refunds for unused sessions.
4. Communication
Communication will be via email, phone, or platform messaging only.
Parents/guardians are welcome to check progress updates.
5. Expectations
Students should bring materials, assignments, and questions to sessions.
Active participation is expected.
Tutors will provide guidance and strategies, but students are responsible for completing their own work.
6. Academic Integrity
Tutor will not complete homework, projects, or exams for students.
Sessions focus on understanding and skill-building, not shortcuts.
